You read correctly, I bought my wedding dress last weekend. Don’t get me wrong, I’m fully aware that the wedding is not actually the most important part, its the marriage. It’s committing to spending the rest of your life with your best friend and husband. Got it! But lets be honest, everyone goes to see the bride in her beautiful dress and I know they say that every bride looks beautiful, but I’m not buying it. I want to know I look and feel great on my wedding day. 🙂 So sue me. I’ll be the first to admit it was actually a lot of pressure to pick out a dress. Kyle’s sister told me “trust me when you find the right one you will know because it will scream buy me!”. And it did. It took three wedding shops and a dozen dresses that didn’t even make it out of the dressing room. But I found the perfect one. It is not at all what I had in mind when I went there to buy a dress but it fits the wedding I (*cough* we… ) envisioned. It’s romantic and timeless. And I’m sorry to tell you but you wont get to see it till the day of the wedding!!! I know I’m horribly mean.

What I will let you know is that I bought it from the Wedding shoppe Inc. They honestly could not have been nicer. They had my body shape in mind, my wedding vision and my price bracket when picking out dresses. Not only that but they also seemed genuinely excited to help me find the wedding dress for me. I couldn’t have had a better experience. I also don’t want to forget the wonderful women who helped me choose the “right one”. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life.
I also selected what I think will be our bridesmaid dresses. So let me know what you think!

It’s a Kennedy Blue dress which is the brand for the Wedding Shoppe Inc. They will be in the eggplant option shown above.
Stay tuned for more wedding updates to come.
